Lauren J. Hunsaker

Lauren J. Hunsaker is a commercial litigator. Ms. Hunsaker has participated in commercial suits involving real estate transactions, trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duties and insurance coverage disputes. Ms. Hunsaker also has experience in health care law including the Affordable Care Act, insurance and employee benefits, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Ms. Hunsaker is a native Houstonian who grew up in Houston and Philadelphia. She attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in European History and Political Science in 2008, summa cum laude. Ms. Hunsaker received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin in 2011. While at the University of Texas, Ms. Hunsaker was the Chief Notes Editor for the Review of Litigation and published her student note in the 2010–11 volume. She was also a member of the Interscholastic Mock Trial team.

Prior to joining Dow Golub Remels & Gilbreath in 2013, Ms. Hunsaker was associated with another Houston law firm.
