Past representation has included (i) obtaining temporary restraining orders and injunctive relief against former employees who had wrongfully misappropriated our client’s trade secrets; (ii) defending a client against claims that its newly-hired employees had misappropriated customer lists constituting trade secrets from a former employer; (iii) advising small businesses regarding how to avoid liability for trade secret misappropriation; and (iv) advising clients about methods to treat confidential information in order to maximize the chances that it will qualify as a trade secret, and about procedures our clients can adopt to reduce the risk of misappropriation of such information.
