Debra Levy Gilbreath
Debra Gilbreath’s practice focuses on real estate development, leasing and acquisition, disposition, and the construction and financing of real estate projects.
Ms. Gilbreath’s experience includes:
- Representing purchaser in the acquisition, financing and development of over 1,000 acres of land along the Houston Ship Channel.
- Representing purchaser in the acquisition and financing of 29 tracts, approximately 55 acres total, of unimproved land located in the East End of Houston, Texas.
- Representing a Houston-based commercial condominium association in the creation of a condominium regime including drafting the declaration of condominium and subsequent amendments.
- Representing owner of approximately 1,000 acres of unimproved property located in Houston, Texas in the development of an industrial business park and distribution center.
- Representing seller in the disposition of multiple tracts of unimproved property restricted for commercial use in a master planned Fort Bend County community.
- Representing seller in the disposition of multiple tracts of unimproved property restricted for public elementary, secondary and/or high school uses in various master planned Harris and Fort Bend County communities.
- Representing seller in disposition of approximately five acres of land restricted for use as a museum and cultural center in Fort Bend County, Texas.
- Representing retail store owner in the negotiation of Class A retail space lease agreements in Houston and Dallas, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Representing building owners located in Houston and Dallas in the negotiation of commercial tenant lease agreements.
Prior to joining Dow Golub Remels & Gilbreath, Ms. Gilbreath served as Partner-in-Charge in the Houston office of Brown McCarroll. She has over 16 years of business experience and previously owned and operated a consulting company.
